This is an outstanding documentary of the greatest concert production of all time. Never has music and technology been combined like this before, and may never be again. Kudos to all those who put their blood, sweat, tears, talent, cash and genius into making the U2 360 Tour an unparalleled experience for fans worldwide.
Most of, what I call the "U2 babies" were barely out of diapers in the early to mid 80's. They didn't bear witness to a band who played on a stripped-down stage and brought the intensity of the music to a point where it blew the roof off the building. To see what I mean, look at "Wire" or "Exit" live.
Having seen U2 on every tour since 1985, I prefer the arena U2...the Vertigo tour reminded me of when the band was actually a band....meaning, they weren't lost and distracted by senseless, over the top stage productions. I guess more money can be made on all sides by going "360" Hopefully, U2 will go back to the 20,000 seaters...they are multi-millionares now so guys, let's tone it down a bit! Bono is doing now what he said the band would never do...huge productions.....expensive tickets!
Brilliant !
