  • Well, shucks. The overlay "black box" just will not appear. The gallery just remains embedded into the page or into it's own page. I'm pretty sure I had this working before, but something changed. A JW Player logo appears in the embedded slideshow. I've already tried adding a flashplayer plugin, smoothplayer plugin, and the jw player thing that the nextgen says is required. I think I have thickbox active.

If anyone has a suggestion for what I am missing, I would be eternally grateful!

  • Awesome! I've been trying to get nextgen gallery to work all week... but could not get the overlay box to appear and could not find answers anywhere. FINALLY I think I discovered my problem via this video! I did not have visual editor turned on in WP, so never saw that ngg button in the "edit page' screen. Let me go try this now! Thanks a million, standard space.
