Awesome tank! When your "topping off" evaporated water, do you use plain water or water with the blackwater mixture? I understand solids don't evaporate soo..

@thealphamale0806 thanks . i only have to top off about 15 liters a week so i just use plain water and add the black water extract after each water change .

Wonderful tank. Might I ask, how are you getting the shimmering light effect? What exactly do you have and how is it set, to provide for the surface and light variations? Thanks. I"m setting up a 75 gallon.

@dyamarick thanks , i use a 150 watt metal halide light with an old 10000 kelvin bulb which gives the light ripples and the waters surface is moved by the return pump . you also get the light ripples from using LED lights . if you look at my 3rd video of this tank you can sort of see what is going on behind the scenes . thanks
