To determine how much protein you need, take your weight in pounds, divide it by 2.2 and multiply it by 0.8. You can go up to 200% of that number and still be OK.
Raw food diets miss out on a lot of nutrients. Besides, there is no need to eat only raw foods... a lot of nutrients are more absorbable in cooked veggies (ie: betacarotene in carrots).

Healthy foods like fruit and unsweetened yogurt fall into the "simple sugar" category.
Sure, so does candy, but saying all simple sugars are bad is irresponsible and wrong.
Also, he forgets to mention that lactose is a simple sugar.
