Got it.. but the pigtails broke off so I took the board off and I will take it to a repair shop and have them soder a new fuse back on. I'm hoping it won't cost that much!! Thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it.

@555666gd You gotta look closely at the fuse. It should have a single or 2 digit number stamped on end. Like 3A or 10A. Also, take a multimeter and do a continuity test on the fuse to see if it is burned out or not. If your meter beeps when you put ur test leads on both ends of fuse, then its not a fuse problem but something else.

@jacobew2000 Do you what fuse is used? 3A or??

Oh and I also forgot to mention, Opening up a powersupply can result in your death! Even trained people find a repair manual first, before ever opening the case to make sure that there isnt any high voltage lines anywhere. Capacitors can put out thousands of volts, which can easily kill even the best trained person if they dont follow the manufacturers repair instructions.

First of all, 250v fuse doesent mean anything. You need the amperage rating. Like 2A, or 3A, etc. Also a CERAMIC fuse, not glass. 2nd, opening up any sort of modern electronic device without being properly grounded with a ground strap and while ON CARPET, can result in damage to static senstative parts. You many not see that damage today, but it can result in failure in days, weeks, months ahead. This is a common mistake by untrained people who think they can work on electronics.

@BigTripp509 i did! and mine still wont work. replacing the power board is the next option for ME- and the cost is over $400- If i do it myself its like $200..
lesson? NEVER BUY A VIZIO! i used mine less than half the time. I watched tv maybe 2-3 hrs and turned it off, for two years .. then "POP" it was jacked.

I would suggest changing the capacitors if you want to do it cheaper.........You need to know how to solder!!! Open up the back of the TV by removing all the screws. Then check the cylinders that are black with a silver top. If they're swollen or leaking thats your problem
