This is definately 1986, probably Gary's Doorslammers meet which was the first weekend in Oct, although it may have been a RWYB for final tune up in the weeks leading up to the Doorslammers.
This was the year that Bostic was finally knocked off the top spot, by Andy in Ratfink.
The Doorslammers were such a big deal then, with all the Scandanavian street cars coming over. They don't bother now do they?
