:'( poor mouseys....

@carolz321 Im sure your cats would LOVE to get some live mice. And dogs would be much happier if they could hunt down their foods, and not spend the days bored inside a house. You are so cruel when you deny their instincts. They dont give a shit if it's okey or not to kill other animals, if they had a change, they would do it. Who are you to say that it's not okey? That's how the world works.

@leg0man01 Many Americans and quite a few of my European friends don't go to butchers anymore. It's all at the grocery store, since many people these days have a problem with seeing the animal before they eat it. Besides, what the hell does this have to do with whether or not snakes should eat live food?
-
@jesusXdiablo I dont know where you get your meat, but at the local butcher he chops them up in front of you from the fresh corpse. intestines, organs and head removed of course.

@carolz321 Dogs, Cats, and many other pets DO eat meat. However, it is processed to the point that us humans really don't recognize it. Granted, a lot of food is mostly corn starch as well, but that isn't healthy for the animals. They're not getting the real proteins they need. (Even vegetarian humans get protein they would get from meat somewhere else.) Snakes on the other hand, know the difference and will NOT eat anything like cat food, dog food, ext. It's been tried, trust me.

@WebkinzBearLover They jump. Lot. It's difficult to get them to stay still.

when you buy a mouse do they give u the little cage thing?
abeblader 9 months ago
@abeblader No? Petshops and breeders might give you a little cardboard box for transportation. But when people come to me to buy a pet, I tell them to bring a box with them.

No it's the mother mice. Babies are smaller. You have never seen a rat have you? They are way bigger than mice. And these showmice are bigger than wild-mice.

so cute! Poor little guys are so scared. And is it just me, or do mice seem faster as babies than as adults?
kuramafan58 10 months ago
@kuramafan58 Yes baby mice can be wickedly fast. They are not tame, because they are so young, they havent gotten used to handling. Well how could they, when they are only 2-3 weeks old. :D
I think wild mice will stay that fast all their life, but petmice will loose that and become tame. Even if you dont really handle them, it's in the genes.
