I think this is my favorite version of this song. I particularly like the haunting quality of the harmonies (what is it, 4 part?) and the strings together. The violin and banjo hit their blue notes well. I dunno I always kinda pictured this song as a couple running from whatever (I'm sure that's nothing what it's really about) and the haunting quality makes me think of badlands and tumbleweeds lol.
