Here are the final 10 laps of the 2001 Cracker Barrel Old Country Store 500 at Atlanta, with Jerry Nadeau, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick and Dale Jarrett all feverishly jockeying for the lead. In the end, though, it came down to two of them, and perhaps the most improbable name of the bunch squeezed out a win for the ages.

Also features most of Harvick's victory lap; the remainder of the broadcast will be posted in another video.

  • @beatleboy94 Forget weird. It's called karma. Regardless of how much people protest it's there's just forces in play we can't deny (The one who disliked this was one of them). Some things are just meant to be. There's a Divine Hand guiding them.

  • One person is a fucking cunt. Or has no heart whatsoFUCKINGever.

  • to bad we dont see racing like this now at non restrictor plate tracks

  • Gordon had this race won if that lap car had more repect

  • The greatest finish in a non restrictor plate race ive ever seen

  • if you watched these races in 2001 - Rockingham, Atlanta, Pepsi 400..... you where turned into a NASCAR fan for life... i know i was. The crowd chearing is just epic and this was some of the best racing ever.

  • the close harvick!!!

  • @beatleboy94 i didnt notice that

  • thats the best clean hard racing i have ever seen

  • @Harvickfan767: He won on March 18th (1+8=9/3=3), 2001 (2+1=3), beating Jeff Gordon's #24 (2+4=6/2=3) by 6/1000 (6/2=3) of a second.

Jeff Gordon won the title that year, as did Bobby Labonte (2nd to Dale in 2000) the previous year!!!

Dale Sr.'s birthday is 29/4/51. Harvick drove the #29, in the 4th race of the year, started 5th & won!!!
