@JazzLassie6020: We did aggravate they're decline by the introduction of mammals to the island. But their decline is also due to their mating habits. Its amazing as a species they've survived this long with that combination.

The body of a fat flightless budgie with the brain of a cat. You can actually tell what it's thinking by looking at it. Remarkable that such an utterly ridiculous and defenseless bird is able to still exist. This animal needs to be saved from extinction, even if it's purely for novelty!

@f00tstep Kakapo's extinction are at least partially due to the introduction of feral predators to the islands. Since these parrots had never previously been exposed to such predation, they had no natural defenses. They are flightless, easily caught and their eggs are not safe. Humans for the most part had no intention to drive them to this state, but it is still human related

@tsurutom Some animals are decent at everything, others are useless.
also ´´I´´ as I am a Human can do nearly anything.

@Koostbraaksel What animal is "good at doing anything"? From a completely non-I-am-the-center-of-the-uni
verse point of view, mind you. If you're good at doing anything, I'm very eager to learn about that. Also, randomly throwing species at one another that have evolved separately for millions of years, you call that natural selection?
And please don't flame people on their English skills. This _´_ is NOT an apostrophe :\

Lol Cod fish

@f00tstep Also their extiction is partly caused by humans, as we transferred animals ( like freds ) to the islands they came from.
Sinbad is gorgeous! I adore his curiosity and his looks to camera, hehe :)

What an absolute beauty... I would feel so honored to see one of these parrots in person, moreso in the wild!
