Does anyone know a website that can animate speech like this?

I love the last sentence. "It is not enough to question authority, you've got to speak it too". However, there is a time and a place for authoritative speaking. Too often it is used to articulate biases and intolerance. Let's learn to be authoritative with our own thoughts but tolerant of others. Always talking like a calvanistic priest just doesn't cut it.

Why is there always that person who thinks that people who has some legitimate argument for speaking in a correct manner? This is wonderful and I really like the typography.

I'm not entirely sure you got what this poem is about. um, ahm, etc are interections, and interjections, and discourse particles like 'like', have been around for some time, but the particular problem Taylor Mali has with these words is their connection with 'speech disfluency', and it being so prevalent post-Generation-X. I say 'like', and 'um' too, just not in the way Mr. Mali is affronted by.

He kind of sounds like Tom Hanks.
@Spacepopeful Umm... I think you are missing the point. This is not about a pet peeve, it is about asking people to speak with conviction. Say um all you want, just do it with conviction :-)
