En concert 1975 à 1-2-3 / Live in Franco's nightclub Un-Deux-Trois in Kinshasa. Zang: Youlou Mabiala, Sam Mangwana, Josky Kiambukuta, which is a rare treat.

Sounds like even the guitar was recorded through the microphones of the singers.

But there's a looseness here that you don't get anywhere else.

No studio recording of this song as a whole is known to me. Can anybody out there help me to it?

On the album "Animation Non Stop" (1987), this song was revisited, Franco playing with Youlou for the first time in 10 years.

(In 1980-1981 Youlou recorded an album with le T.P. O.K. Jazz on which Franco did not play.)

  • Siddikh,You doing a great job!!In your excerpts you wrote that Franco did not play during the 1980- 81 recording Youlou did with T.P Ok, I guess my question.......Is this the Album containing UCB(Union Congoliase Banque) and the hit song "Motema na ngai Television"? Thanx and I will wait for your answer.

  • Franco Présente Le Prince Youlou et le T.P. O.K. Jazz Edipop POP 05, 1981. A: Mwana Bitendi Libaku Ya Monoko B: Ilumbe Fafy ...

  • The 1st time I hear this version..."walai walai". In other clips the song is titled 'Bolingo Etondi Souvenir'. What is happening at 4:15-4:17? Merci.

  • You mean the medley from 1987? And I suppose something distracted them.
