Who killed Kelsey on October 11th,2005 is unknown. Both Michael Porter and Raye Dawn blame each other. Both were the last one's to see Kelsey alive and both claim innocent.
Many have pointed the finger at Michael Porter but remember Raye Dawn had Kelsey before. As the OSBI officer said Kelsey was suffering even during the time in which she lay with Raye Dawn on the bed.

One Day the truth will be out and Kelsey will finnaly have the justice she deserves.

how come u do not tell 'the people' kelsey was in a car that was hit by a drunk driver not long before her last days?

i feel as though truth is not spoken here.

why can not every one tell the truth. do u have such a weak case u must lead people to believe something other then the truth?

such a sad video!=( i have a question. why was raye agravated that when lance came home he would have unsupervised visits with kelsey? it was obius that he had nothing to do with the abuse so it was fair.

Remember by the time Kelsey had died Kelsey had gotten so bad. Raye was probably afraid that when Lance returned Kelsey would be taken away from her again. Kelsey was almost three so she could have told her dad that Raye or Mike was hurting her. Unlike Lance's family Lance had rights to Kelsey that they didn't so he could have taken Kelsey away.

Guess she was afriad of the truth coming out.

What I want to know is what makes Raye Dawn so special? She's just like every other mom who lets their child be abused and makes excuses for the injuries. But unlike those other moms, she gets supporters who say she's in no way at fault. Why is she so special?

This story just infuriates me to no extent. That bastard Mike Porter is in protective custody so when he gets out he WILL NEVER HAVE TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER! So he could change his name and do the same thing to his next partner's child, lets just hope that this partner isn't as stupid and selfish as Raye Dawn and cares about her children more than her man!!

Porter raped Kelsey that day in my opinion and as he leaned on her with all his weight ,forced himself inside her, twisting and pulling her little legs,she fought but he pinned her down ,shook her, hit her unconscious banged her head. He sent Raye out and she just left..no one can prove this with sperm testing? what about his children as witnesses? What can we do to get him registered as a sex offender? Raye needs to never have more children and admit her neglect to the baby. RIP Kelsey angel.

How could that poor child have so many injuries on her, yet her mother claims no knowledge of any abuse?! Regardless of whether she was involved in a car accident or not, that didn't cause the sexual injuries did it? There is no defence for this woman. Kelsey would have been in pain, and I would only have to look at one of my children to know that, even without them opening their mouths to tell me. I cannot for one second understand anyone who would try and defend her.

But the fact that Raye ignored Kelsey is what makes me the maddest. When your two-year-old comes to you and says, "Mommy, this person did so-and-so", you don't ignore that! A two-year-old isn't smart enough to make something like that up. Kelsey told Raye twice that Mike had hurt her and each time Raye just laughed. She even told Kelsey that he couldn't have hurt her because she hadn't met him yet. So how does Kelsey know his name then, Raye?!

One of the things that really twists my stomach to that her supporters say that most of Kelsey's injuries were just normal childhood injuries. "Childhood injuries" my damn foot! I can believe a simple arm bruise is normal, but broken legs? Vaginal and anal bruises? A broken clavicle? Yeah, Raye's supporters either called those normal childhood injuries or blamed them on some car accident.

Her supporters are all just as SICK as Raye Dawn and see nothing wrong with neglecting a child to the point of ignoring vaginal and anal bruising on a baby.

That means she never gave Kelsey a bath, changed a diaper or even dressed her.

It's also documented by Social Services that Kelsey told Raye Dawn that "Daddy Mike hurt my head". The woman LAUGHED! Now she says she had no way of knowing. BS, your daughter told you.

Please parents, don't trust your children with ANYONE, unless they have FULLY proven themselves to be trustworthy. The minute your child comes home with bruises or anything like that... keep your child away from that dangerous environment!! I am a single mother and to be honest I plan to stay that way just to keep things like this from happening. I don't trust ANYONE but my family.

The people who defend her mother are RIDICULOUS. It was her job to protect this child. Whether she actively took part in the abuse or is simply guilty of turning her head the other way, she failed this little girl.

as a mother i believe Raye Dawn is not that cruel that she would hurt her own child,2 years of taking care of Kelsey i can see love through all the pictures,its mike porter who did all the injuries,he had all the chances and opportunity when Raye left Kelsey alone with Mike.Raye had been blind by her love and marriage and mike false acting.i know she really dont want this to happen,but of course i blame her for not 100% helping and protecting kelsey.still her fault for letting this to happen.

I don't think it's Raye who's the special one. I think Raye's supporters are the one's who are "special", if you know what I mean. It's frustrating because they love finding fault in everyone else, yet they continiously defend and make up excuses for Raye's actions/inactions regarding Kelsey. I don't understand it.
