I was also there the day this video was shot and although far from the first time I had seen the Vulcan display, the howl of the engines as usual did not fail to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
I have made my usual annual pilgrimage to the Cosford air show today (14/06/09) and XH558 returned after her very long absence. She did not disappoint in any way. Bang on form. Absolutely brilliant!!!

I also went yesterday and was really sad, my favorite was the typhoon then closley followed by the red arrows, the 4 tornado's was pretty intresting and loud haha, i will be going next year hopefully it'll be there

I was there that day, the Vulcan was probably THE highlight of the whole show.
Went to the Airshow yesterday but sadly the Vulcan wasnt flying. I reckon we should send it to Iraq and Afghanistan, the noise alone would scare the crap out of the Taliban. An amazing aircraft... British built too.
