No, tell me you are trolling or you are too naive to believe that. 2nd hand games do not affect developers, for someone to buy a pre-owned someone bought it new, it effects them as much as any market because pre-owned sales exist with ANYTHING, books, cars, furniture yet Toyota is one of the richest companies in the world and video games are on the rise, in 2012 EA made over 3 billion £ net profit.

In all honesty, used games are terrible for the industry. People need to realize that buying a used game gives absolutely nothing to the developers who, you know, made the damn game.

I'm Australian. Lots of ignorance delayed the implimentation of R18+. Once people realised that most games got released anyway, only a lower MA15+ rating, they realised it was counterintuitive for the mothers and ACL to keep fighting more restrictive ratings.
