dreaming
is being sad
dreaming
is being angry
dreaming is failing
dreaming is not what we expect it to be
dreaming is the unexpected

what is dreaming
its dreaming, not while you are asleep
its dreaming while you are awake
its dreaming with your eyes open
pursuing a vision, a goal, a result

living that dreamed purpose
its not reaching your dreams
dreaming is the commitment to the journey
dreaming lies somewhere between all the things we don't want
and all the things we cannot do without
between these lines
dreams exist
in those people with enough passion
enough resilience and hardship
enough hope and despair
enough reality and imagination
to know that dreams do not exist
until we create them
the future is unwritten
dreamers are the writers
struggling to find the right words

we do not all dream alike
some dream of death
others dream of rebirth
the cost is confusion, chaos and corruption
complemented by clarity, coherence and compassion
can we all dream the same story?
no, we can't
life is not only choice, its circumstance
dreams are the will that break our cycles
of indulgence and depravity

our dreams lie dormant
between the lines of all creation
waiting to be embodied
by those with enough courage and sacrifice
who understand the value of...
