The difference between the Malibu Eco and other Hybrid cars is the fact that those other cars have the ability to run on electricity alone whereas the Malibu Eco always uses the gas engine and the electric motor kicks in to add power. The 2013 Chevy Malibu Eco drives nice, it looks good, and it is priced competitively at $25,235. The 2.4 liter 4-cylinder Ecotec engine and electric motor combine to produce 182 horsepower. Fuel economy is expected to be 26 MPG in the city and 36 MPG on the highway. The Malibu Eco drives nice and the interior is comfortable. Overall the Malibu Eco is a great alternative to the other mainstream midsized sedan hybrids currently on the market.
