  • Hello captain. Nice boat. I have an Mac 26S On the vid looks like you had the mainsail too tight for a day with a lil wind, you might be able to get better sailing performance if you convert your main sail to a loose foot. You will have better sail control, also get a a boomvang and an adjustable backstay.

  • Thanks. Just for the boomvang last week, will try this weekend. But the "adjustable backstay" is something new to me (Capt. Noob), why use one?

  • Hi!

sooo cute and beautiful dogs but seem little bit inexperienced...my shih-tzu Verdella is an expert sailor!

  • Thanks for the video on this model. I've always had heavier boats in the past and watched guys in these types zooming past me. ha ha! I've seen then out in coastal overnight races in the Gulf of Mexico. They seem to do everything well. Even though they are not heavy enough for ocean crossings, but I'm sure somebody has taken them to Hawaii by now. Towing that dingy with such a light boat must really slow you down though (under sail that is..)
