Lou Dobbs Tonight -- CNN -- 4/29/08 // U.S. Attorney Chris Christie is the top federal prosecutor in New Jersey. So when he tells an audience at a community gathering that being an immigrant living in the United States without documentation is not a crime, just a civil offense, people listen and some people become outraged.
The mayor of Morristown is now calling for his resignation. Christie's office has since issued what it calls a clarification saying that he was responding to a direct question and that, "The U.S. attorney responded that the simple act of being in the United States without proper documentation is not a criminal act under federal law." Illegal Aliens or Mexicans? is the law after canadian, russian, south europeans...anyone associated with a white skin? Sure there are crimes done by latinos but the same goes for russian, Canadian and Europeans. Perhaps they are perfect citizens???

Every time an illegal alien is captured we should harvest a life saving organ for an American. Before kicking their ass over the fence, we should take any organ that might help pay for their use of our benefits, and sterilize them so they dont continue to breed.
That would solve the problem over night. Imagine that!

Christie was giving a technical legal definition and he was absolutely right. Key word is "Criminal". However he never said it was not illegal. On the other hand, CNN is sensationalizing a rather small incident and blowing it completely out of proportion to put Christie in a very negative light. Gee, I wonder why????

As much as I am against illegal immigrants, I have to say this christie guy is great. he took the bottle out of the teacher union baby mouths.
