My new HP Laptop webcam- HORRAY!

I just bought a new laptop!! =D
Its the most amazingist thing in the whole world. I just got wireless internet set up on and I figured out how to use the built in webcam and microphone. Thus, I had to make a video. Even if I did just wake up!

How do you get it to work

@jrodriguez1235 I'm not sure what your trying to get to work but I just open my webcam software and I can create videos in there and save them to my computer or I can take pictures ect.

Mine is called HP MediaSmart webcam, the software.

I'm not quite sure how my cam works or how I got it to work, it just worked lol! =]

I went to upload a video on here and there was an option for creating a video with your webcam and uploading it directly so I did it.

@Sasukekunluvr go into the control panel, then hardware and sound, if you go into manage audio devices you can select you're mike and control the sound quality with in the other links in "Sound". Though I have no idea how to get the webcam to work at all.

ummm i have an HP laptop and when i try to record sound it comes out all staticy. do you know how to fix it? and idk where the mic is, so yeah.
