The Salvation Army's weekly newspaper has just been given a new look. We look at the history of the paper, and follow the process from planning to printing to selling on the street.
A short film from LINk 38 (DVD) available from www.salvationarmy.org.uk/video
The Salvation Army has changed my life, if ever so slightly.
They have taken me from where I was unemployed and at the mercy of others and given me a job.
I now beg publicly.
I used to rely on the charity of others.
I now watch donations meant to help me, go to the Salvation Army while I receive as little as the law allows them to pay.
The Salvation Army took me from a bad situation, made it public and takes a cut for doing it.
Merry Christmas,
The Bell Ringer

Looks great! I'd be interested to see the content! I'm not fussed on our current Australian War Cry. The glossy mag look doesn't bother me, but it's content is watered down and near-secular.
