At the Faces of Wrongful Conviction Convention on August 25th, 2009, the ACLU of Northern California facilitates the storytelling of those wrongfully convicted. Here is part 1 from Arthur Carmona.
Art was the greatest friend that anyone could ever have. He is missed and loved by many that he left behind. The 'system' took my friend out of our lives when we were 16. When he returned, he was forever changed. Still loving, caring and soft spoken, but very hurt. He looked for ways to better his life and get past his anger, things were looking good until Feb. 2009. My dear friend Art was murdered at a party and forever taken away from us. I LOVE YOU ART, YOU ARE 4EVER IN OUR HEARTS. R.I.P.
