  • I'm so sick of people saying he played badly in the Holiday Bowl.

    The guy threw no interceptions and bounced back from the bad Nebraska loss earlier in the season... He delivered the first winning season for the Huskies in years.

    Give the huskies any other QB in the NCAA and they would have lost that game. You cant fault any of his decisions -- he made no glaring mistakes. The guy's tough, has mechanics as good as any, reads play well and is a fearless leader.

    Locker = future NFL great.

  • yea so what if he wasn't as statistically good as the year before. he ultimately did what he said he would do which was getting his team to a bowl game. you know he will give verything he has to the team. even a chance to be a high draft pick in 2010

  • But... he's white?!

  • HOLY SHIT HE IS FAST.

  • @cfhighlightvideo Someone posted somewhere that Washington led the nation in drops last year (I've never been able to find a source for that stat), but you never heard Jake complain about it. How many balls are typically dropped or thrown away per game? Locker threw away five per game, last year. If you "normalize" his stats, by figuring in average drops and average throw-aways, his completion percentage is 60%, which seems to be some sort of magic number in the minds of some.

  • @TexasMade20 he didn't have a bad year, i don't know where people are getting that idea from. Yeah his completion ratio went down but his coordinator made the offense more complex and i counted more drops by the receivers, 46 so far and still a few games to watch. He set off what he wanted to do, that was lead his team to a bowl game, he did that, and won, against Nebraska. He did whatever it took to get there as well, sacrificing his body at times. 7-5 on a crappy team that was 0-9 without him.

  • @FreeLanceWarrior lol, is that why there were like 50 drops by his receivers last year? I counted 46 so far , so close...if he had a guy that could catch anything thrown his way, his completion ratio wouldve been higher last year. The only talent they have coming back is Polk.

  • I still think this guy is the best QB in the draft. I don't care what anybody says, Locker is highly talented. He had a bad year, so what? Doesn't mean he lost any skill. I just means he obviously didn't have the talent he needed to stay where he was in the eyes of the MEDIA. They always have something to criticize about. Locker is the man, I hope we get him in DC.

  • THanks for everything Jake. Washington Husky Legend! See you in the third quarter at Husky stadium some day.

  • I have a feeling Locker is going to be playing for the Vikings.

  • @gimmeahand9 lets see u dodge 5 defenders and then accelerate with 4.4 speed
