  • What a shit lousy video. I got zero information out of this accept the idea of just mixing my own rubber to spray out of a gun. It would work the same exact way with out the stupid machine. If they had explained something I might have realized that this might be a useful product... I'll stick with my plastic sheeting I buy to continue making my Lotus and Ferrari parts...

  • This question makes me feel smart!

  • @OhMyOhMi The description says it all, I think. Instead of using a bag that has been manufactured ahead of time, I can only assume that this VacuSpray would be sprayed on to the fabric itself. This would eliminate creases normally seen in general purpose bags since it is initially a fluid. I am curious how the sprayed on "bag" is prevented from absorbing into the fabric, though. Cohesive properties of the fluid may be enough. I'm sure it's a question easily answered by a visit to their website.

  • Maybe combined with the proper molds, polymers, and reinforcement fabrics it can make some pretty good parts. I have used a primer pot gun to apply epoxy to fabrics to avoid using so many mixing cups.

  • por favor ,qual é o material usado neste video, que se aplica com a pistola, desde ja eu vos agradeço......

  • what was this about, planes, the military, what???

  • The tear resistance of these spray silicones is very poor , it looks very messy , does the equipment need cleaning out after every application , do you then have to bond a sealing system to the bag , tacky tape does not stick to silicone . How many cycles will a typical bag do before ripping ?

  • dude, dont question the planes.

  • Nice idea I guess. I have been out of the game for ten years. But, there is something I want to begin making. I have some platinum cure Silicone rubber that I am sure would go through dump gun. Spray the back of an ideal part and throw it over into the mold on the layers then bag the whole thing?

  • I remember that scene. there were making a one peice body for a new airforce contract. They failed because the lamination was not perfect. It was real sad because I felt their design for a new fighter jet was the best.
