now here's a little song called donna lee. recorded many times by people like Joe Pass, Jaco Pastorius, Charlie Parker are only the ones i know. the chords are based on an older tune called back home again in INDIANA which charlie parker probably used to play. However, many people also say that the composition is by Miles Davis who used to play with Bird. Man, I like it but I don't love it at all. You just don't have that swing. Try not to play it so flat and worry about emphasising the 2nd and 4th beats of the bar. Try also to make more pull-off's.
