Maybe bad FET's . They control your throttle and brake/revers .

mine wants to do the same thing. however, mine doesnt shut off to my knowledge. Mine will steer but, like you, when try to take off, it does nothing. i have tried different motors, taken the board out (nothings fried), checked all the solders and wires. My only guess is possible the plug to the motor which i have yet to look at on mine. if it is just the plugs, it should be a relatively easy repair. hope this helps! and if anyone else has ideas MULTIPLE people will appreciate it!!! thanks!

Have you tried a different motors? If you haven't you should do that and if that's not the problame you might want to check the wires that are soldered on the board, to do that you would have to take it apart, pm me if you have any other questions cuz I think you might
