to download the tab and the backing track click here

Lesson Description:
Last week we learn the A Harmonic Minor Pattern (Box#4)
Harmonic Minor Scale is constructed with the following form Harmonic Minor=1, 2, b3, 4, 5, b6, 7
The notes that we must to pay attention is the Root (A) an the 7th (G#)
The backing track is basically a Amin static chord. Tempo 90bpm. The style is Heavy Rock
Firstly play the Harmonic Minor pattern over the backing track and when you feel comfortable
you can start improvise. Try to be creative and dont forget to start or finish your phrases
over the 2 notes that we mention above.

Harmonic Minor scale is extensively used from guitar players like Rithcie BlackMore, Y.J Malmsteen,
John Petrucci, Jeff Loomis and Jason Becker. Also in various styles (Rock, Shred, Neoclassical etc)

Always practice with a metronome. Increase the metronome only when you feel comfortable.
There is no point to play fast and sloppy. For any queries dont hesitate to ask me personally at
