So, my girl is mad at me because I won't talk about getting engaged...I'm 20.
We've been dating for a little under a year and a half, long distance. She's been kind of jokingly talking about getting engaged within like 2 years and I kept getting more and more uncomfortable with that as I realized she wasn't 100% joking. She kept bringing it up and eventually caught on I was uncomfortable. Huge ****storm ensues. I basically said I feel way too young to think about getting engaged. She threw down that clearly I don't mean my commitments to her, that I'm putting our relationship on hold because I'm uncomfortable, etc.

Eventually kind of resides, but she's been ridiculous all week, starting the dumbest fights and stuff. Calls me today, stressed out of her mind, etc. I help her feel better and then she says "I wish you would just tell me what I want to hear." referencing engagement. I get quiet and apologize that I can't. She says "I wish you could pretend, just for one night when I'm feeling down." and I tell her that I don't think that'd be good to lie like that. She freaks "Oh, so it'd be a lie?" and then it just goes to absolute **** from there. And then she drops the "Well if you don't want to get engaged young, maybe you should reevaluate this relationship." and hangs up.

Am I in the wrong? I don't want to get engaged young. I have never told her otherwise. I don't want to be forced in to an engagement either, as that's a recipe for disaster. Wtf....

That girl is after the wrong guy, she has to get rid of the loser... But then he is only 20, so yeah, that's way to young to get married...

Btw, just 'cause someone gets married doesn't mean all the sex stops,lol... Just means they got married to the wrong person, which, unfortunately most people do, that's why their sex life goes down hill from there... It's grim... :0/

Wrong, we know, we know,lol. (it's just that we both know "opposite" sides 2 this,lol). I believe my opinion is right but your opinion is right sort of to, but only because you're judging by statistics, the thing is, people these days rush in to stupid things like marriage & then they end up with the wrong one because females pressure guys in to doing it.
