first try was done on a later version of fruity loops then saved as a MP3. All I have is the MP3. I forgot what version it was made on and did the other video as a remake on FL 2, yes FL 2, whatever. There was another video of this tune but it had crappy sound and more hits so i trashed it.

very good indeed. i have tried flstudio 8 demo and it works in ubuntu 8.10 linux under wine. you should look for some free screencast software for your demos so you can get full digital audio quality. in ubuntu i use gtkrecordmydesktop (check my audio vids)

well the problem is my home PC is not best for video and has a old version of Windows. I record with my camera while recording audio through the PC. I take out the video's audio, since it's in mono, use Cool Edit to modify the recording, add the audio to video then youtube it. Screencast software would work, but once I get Abelton the PC will most likely collect dust. I'm still interested in the one you recommended. i'll check it out. thanks !

Talk to Chrissymcmanus about Linux/wine. I'm not familiar with wine unless your talking about Gato Negro they make a great merlot, highly recommended :)

everytime i open wine it runs ok, then i load a program that i want to emulate it quits to desktop... ive just switched back to windows but it still would be good to know if u can help, thanks.

a way around this would be to install ubuntu 8.10 onto a usb flash drive 4gb will do using unetbootin and just boot your macbook of usb first through the bios and install flstudio to the usb it wont affect your macbook install. maybe get an 8gb usb drive for more room for songs you make...goto ubuntuforum for any info on this
