Ever wanna pilot a starship? Dream of being Scotty, Sulu, or Spock? Artemis is a 6-player game that lets you and your friends work together to defend space stations from hostile invasion. Anthony grabbed Annie from Annie's Bits and Esther and Roger from io9 to help him helm a starship for the first time. Spoilers: it doesn't go well.

I don't even like BBT and I can see it already: Sheldon as the control freak, jerk-face captain and the oblivious girl will be inexplicably put in charge of something important and complicated that the other characters will dismissively say is easy after rattling off an impenetrable explanation.

There will be an argument regarding roleplaying, the lack of canonical fidelity in the game to actual functionality and everyone will be grumpy until five minutes before the credits roll 'cuz whatever
