@GreatHistorian1 Thomas Gottschalk is a famous radio- and television anchorman in Germany. No one knows him elsewhere...but in Germany everybody knows him as a nice guy.

das is eh arm er macht im moment alles richtig es gibt aber nicht sofort fortschritte deshalb wird er wahrscheinlich nicht nochmal gewählt und der nachfolger heimst dann den ganzen ruhm ein

Fools! Every Nazi symbol was taken as a souvenir or destroyed. Why didn't the Russians destroy the column? Because it's a beautiful piece of art.If there are any Germans that are nearly as nationalistic as these FOX news people they are under surveillance in Germany because they pose a threat to the peace and stability of a real democracy where idiots get ridicule and not a TV station.

(and consider that the power that the American president has is - relatively speaking - far bigger than what we are used to in Germany) - what I dislike about her is that I get the impression of her that she thinks she deserves the presidency. (...) I think that Clinton is quite a cold person, but maybe that is what is called for. And McCain, I don't know... I can't say much about him. But my gut goes with Obama. (loosely translated. my apologies.)
