How can I know when the brown house snake is hungry
-
Obviously, you don't. Get educated before 'educating'.

Snakes don't need lights. Some species might..
But people buy lightbulbs and clamps for heat not for light.
He is using either heat tape or heat pad.
Do some research before you act stupid.
by the way good vid 5 stars

snakes do not need light, certain species aside i.e Opheodrys aestivus.
l. capensis does not require any kind of lighting, so long as it has a heat mat to thermoregulate the snake is fine.
you will find that a large majorify of breeders will use tubs for their snakes, with no light
as opposed to vivs with lights thus your logic is flawed.
