  • I found my job through InformationTechnologyCrossing.

  • Like me, people want good stable & secure jobs (careers preferably) with longstanding future prospects as opposed to short-term mickey mouse jobs. Yes everybody starts off with a menial job here and there, but overall if it's just about slotting people into shit jobs to fill the political pie chart, then it's going to end tits up.

  • Whats the good of a job if its not secure? You only get stuffed around from one job to another while your kids go to new schools every year and have no friends or lunch money so everyone calls them POV. And I can assure you, POV will NEVER be in vogue.

  • By taking ownership of this result - they're calling us stupid. I'm not stupid, and I know a freeloader when I see one. Just ride the wave, Pollies, hold yourselves accountable for something you -really- had -little- impact one. *sarcastic applause*

  • What neither of them discuss is that the local job market is flooded with applicants, employers are finding it harder to fill roles because there's no one applying. This is not the result of the government - but people are finding "professional" business jobs better, and we're lacking Tradies because of it. No matter who was in place, this "higher employment rate" was caused by IT & the professional industry, no one thanks the entrepreneurs.
