hi need help here
i am using IR 760nm filter with canon fs 21 did not get the effect like urs i got is almost black and white..
do i need night vision mode to have this effect ?

This was during the day time... My camera doesn't have any night vision... Im not exactly sure how you would set it up on your camera, but the trick is the white balance... you need to set up a custom white balance so you pick a colour to set as "white"... since the infrared changes what we see is red, we need to find a new "white"... What I do for most of my infrared is set white as either trees or grass, so they come as white and the rest is kinda "gold-ish"...

so you gotta set the custom white balance while the filter is on... either take a picture of just a field of grass or a forest (or anything foliage) and set the white balance to that picture.... or if your camera supports it, to set it while pointing at it.

how can you move the camera in time lapse!? is it just postprocessing?
