  • That was a while ago. If I recall correctly, I was down on my bench. About 6 months prior, I pressed 172kg and missed 182kg by about 4 inches. But, to increase your bench, first work on your groove. Once you find your groove, you will move the weight easier. Second, don't be afraid to press multiple days a week. The only thing I don't do multiple days a week is deadlift (that's why my dead's suck). With technique and hard training, you can get to 100kg within a year.

  • how long did it take you to build up to that weight? i've added 15kg to my bench in around a month, started out doing 45kg for 5, now i'm doing 60kg, moving it up next workout.
