Bob Sheets was in Toronto for the Luminato Festival performing impromptu street magic all around town. Sorcerers Safari was lucky enough to catch up with him at his performances.
Luminato was an annual ten-day celebration where Toronto's stages, streets, and public
spaces are illuminated with arts and creativity will include the likes of Bob Sheets, Max Maven, Mac King and Juan Tamariz. Sorcerers Safari Magic Camp was there to catch, first hand, what it's like to spend time with these masters of magic.
Bob Sheet's set included: Cups and Balls (with two small seven year old girls as his spectators), The Chinese Linking Rings, The Three Shell Game, some fablous card effects (including Red Hot Mamma and a mind reading piece with two spectators and a version of 'find the queen' with a young lady). He closed with the card stab (finding three signed selections).
As an 'encore' piece (for one of the shows) he did his version of Ton Onosaka's Tonto.
