Uhm...that clicking-sounds are perfectly normal at when you put in a disc. Every other Wii on Youtube does that too and they all still work.
Some might not work, but that has nothing to do with the clicking when you put a disc in Oo

my old wii had the 'clicking' sound at the start, but I bought a black wii anyway... so who cares!?

i think mine scratched my mario galaxy, when i try to unlock luigi it freezes....

nintendo say thats not normal, its caused by the dust build up in the dvd drive. mine does it too. apprently, its chipped, so im fucked.
btw, does your wii scacth you disc? mine does for some games like mario kart and wii sports.

Whats not normal the clicking sound at the start or the actual sound coming out of the wii after the clicking?

The clicking when the disc goes in. The spinning sound is normal.

Had to send my stuff in due to that and other probs..

I sent it in for repair and the drive is not as loud now. Prior to the repair the gears sounded as if they were grinding. Now it makes clicking noises but they sound healthy.
