Corel painter animations

A selection of animated elements I created recently for a commercial. The characters were originally created by a freelance illustrator. I recreated the animations by hand using Corel Painter's animation features, with some comping and colour correction in After Effects. Much fun to do.

Amazing. I'm impressed by the smoothness of the animation. Tell me, how many frames did you use for the knights battling (the one with the big flail and the other with the sword). It was great. What program did you use to stick it in? I'm not certain Windows Movie Maker could play things so smoothly.

Anyways, these are all good. I like the chibi, cute feel of it all.

@Foxhunter37k Cheers for the comments Fox. It's about three years since I did this now, but I think there were maybe 12 frames altogether. I animated them separately and composited them together in after effects.

Whoaaa! How did you do this? I have Corel Painter Essentials 4....and I can't animate at all!
