@naga3717 bfwbejfbew jwfbwjefbwejf efbwbef fnf fhf gww iifm ...........you understood my structure right? (or do you only understand what I am saying now?) Spontaneity is wonderful when married with music, but listeners should still be able to follow along with what they are hearing. Otherwise, it's simply a bag full of sounds...I'm not particularly saying that here. Again, you have jumped to conclusions, with a defensive stance, and of something slanderous towards my personality...not personal?
@mixedbreed19 I was stating an opinion, not speaking for others. I completely disagree with your statement about 'certain structure types,' and I hear plenty of 'structure' in this music, anyway. I didn't take your first post personally. Call me 'self-centered' and 'insecure'? Grow up, yourself. I'd hate to be a professional musician and have to deal with your limited perspective. adagio.calarts.edu/~snakes/magnific/generous/letsbegenerous.html
@naga3717 Do not speak for other people when they are not present. It's not exactly a secret that music composition is a system with certain structure types. I was only speaking out of that context. You went ahead and took the comment personally, as if it were some personal attack. I would have expected a response that actually addressed my question properly, and not some self-centered, insecure "counterattack" of sorts. You're 53, but grow up!
@mixedbreed19 This 53-year-old music fan with about 10,000 recordings in his collection and ties to professional musicians and others in the music business believes that your comment only serves to indicate your own restricted view of what (good?) "music" is. I first listened to this album years and years ago, and haven't listened to it in too-long a period of time. I love complex, angular music played by talented musicians like these and there's a whole world of it out there, thankfully.
