The scientific method does not use consensus to cut off debate. One outcome gives you government funding, one outcome does not, which one will be chosen. Use of alarmism to create a consensus, not the scientific method. Only scientists who accept the global warming argument are considered "relevant". Totally stacked deck.

We're not following out of blind 'faith'. Hard evidence and absolute agreement among the relevant scientists is what this "following" is based off of. Don't let the skeptic's tactics obscure the proper science!

The Fraser Institute needs to show some research rather than putting together a straight up propagandist video like this without ANY backing. They exaggerate all of their claims to turn environmentalism into a movement that transforms society into a dirty and poor place. This stuff disgusts me.

I can see this video has all you bedwetters rattled. Must be hard for you when someone dares question "the Gorical".

How about this?
a decline in average temperature by a Kelvin each decade, or normal weather change before I turn 40? (34 years' time). see how easy that was. No Emotion no Hysteria.

The hype in the 70's was that the world was cooling, and the theory I see the most logic in is that our solar system orbits into a dust cloud on a regular basis, lowering rays that strike the earth.
And I'll answer your question with another question: which is better? a decline in average temperature by a Kelvin each decade, or cataclysmic weather changes before I turn 40? (34 years' time)

But how can a child do that? when they are being indoctrinated in believing a non event.

"There are ecological limits to growth, and it doesn't matter if you're "free" if you can no longer grow food to eat."
we have all heard that crap before!
" The battle to feed humanity is over. In the 1970s, the world will undergo famines. Hundreds of millions of people are going to starve to death in spite of any crash programs embarked upon now. Paul Ehrlich, in The Population Bomb (1968)
I am ignorant myself when it comes to global warming. Whenever there is so much frenzied hype about an issue I do have to question the blind faith people have in following a cause that most have no idea about, this includes our leaders. I don't think the video was very well done or hit on some of the points I would have liked it to. Seems to me that most of you just don't get it. The reason for the video is not to tell you you're wrong, it's telling you to think for yourself and stop following.

Bravo! Now, we need to question the hype surrounding the other government-created crises, like housing busts, bank failures, and soaring health care costs.
