Just an observation; don't skimmer boats, all boats, leave trails of fuel/oil in their wake as they operate? Who would want to sit at a beach or play in water with a fleet of skimmers just off-shore pumping their exhaust and pollutants in to the same water you're swimming in?

if i was the CEO of this disaster i would be down there on my hands and knees cleaning this s**t up along side everybody else. i would NOT be off on my million dollar yacht sailing around my home land 5000 miles away. In the future if BP CEO Tony Hayworth is in a single vehicle motor accident on a lonely highway and i just so happened to pass and he needed my help...i would simply just get back in my (solar powered) car and drive away...
