I agree with the one guy who said Kyprios isn't a rapper. He's a damn good poet and better than the crap being passed around in the American market.

@namikejohnson - In my opinion, the only true difference between spoken word poetry, and rapping, is that rapping is performed to a beat.

If you have any doubts about his ability as a rapper, might I suggest searching youtube for "Kyprios - Peak Performance Project Challenge #2" You will find it under Vanderhorst's channel.

I like how he's sticking to his creative guns... but at the end of the day, c'mon... you're an entertainer! Sometimes you have to give people what they want... and if they want 3:30 of hooks, catchy beats and looks... it doesn't mean that you can't do your thing and make it legit. It's like your desk at work... add your action figures, family photos, wipe some boogers on the underside and get paid. For heck's sake. Dancing is fun... stupid music is entertaining. Pop is not high art!

@madincraft There is a difference between an entertainer and an artist. An entertainer does it for the money. An artist puts their art out to the world, and if it's accepted, it's a bonus for the artist.

@madincraft The song isn't trying to say a hook and a catchy beat is wrong, it's trying to show that's ALL it is. He also wants you to question the media, and you're government

"Who's leading the leaders, who follows followers."

Even Kyprios though says it's easy to believe someone with a catchy beat and some theatrics, so he even says...

"Question even me, gonna believe a catchy hook? Have I got substance? I don't know, take a look."

That line made me love Kyprios

@madincraft His song goes much deeper than that. It's not as much people making the music, after all they want to make money that drives the world. But when they start pushing ideas into your head is where you draw the line.

Many people don't realize this, but catastrophes like global warming and 2012 repeat about every 40 years. In the late 50s we were going to have an ice age. Never happened
