The world's fastest G8 takes its twin Aerochargers to the Motorsports Ranch road course. Passed everyone except a Porsche Cayman S. All in all the four door Pontiac looked pretty good considering. The G8 is a well balance car, with good brakes and a power-adder Aerocharger. The only other upgrade for the track were Hawk brakes and DOT 4 fluid. At the drags or on a road course the Australian-built G8 did not embarrass itself.

I doubt there is anything more satisfying than tearing it up at the track in a Pontiac sedan. Great driving, great car.

He didn't buy it, he is the guy that developed it for Areo Chager . The Areo Charger is a self contained turbo. Great guy to speak with. 500hp 600 TQ!!!

14 lbs for the 1/4 mile at 130 mph, 11.09 sec.
7.5 on the road course at MSR (Motor Sports Ranch) near Ft Worth.
As an everyday driver with 73k on it I am running 9 psi. Torque reduction for the transmission is ON pulling 12 - 19 degrees on shifts. My felling is the transmission is good for 600 hp and we were pulling 800+ at the drag strip. The car is still awesome, it bets everything on the street except a Dodge Viper and that was a tie. The Australasians know how to make a car.

The G8 now has 46k miles on it, I put the Aerocharger® twin turbo on at 3k. Still stock with the exception of the turbos. Getting up to 25 mpg on the highway. Currently running 10 psi & making 500 hp and 600 tq at the rear wheels . . . yes on pump gas. In the video we were at 7.5 psi. 10 psi may be too high, the car gets a bit rowdy at full throttle at 40 mph. Good job Holden. See what we have done to a Porsche.
