Media City Ballet of Los Angeles held their annual in-studio fundraiser this March. A few company dancers submitted their original works and briefed the audience on what was behind their artistic creation.
Raquel Cordova choreographed a personal piece about two sisters learning to let go of their father's death from Brain Cancer (He was only 49 years old). It's based on Raquel's and her sister's struggle to let go. At the end of this emotional duet, all the dancers held up signs with the names of THEIR loved ones that have passed on due to Cancer & Diabetes.
Dancers: Felicia Guzman and Raquel Cordova
