Should we still observe Thanksgiving Day in 2009 in spite of our many problems, including our national debt, financial hardship, unemployment, bank failures, recession and possible depression and inflation? The history of the Thanksgiving Festival should give us much-needed insight.

  • Giving thanks to God is the real dudy of all mankind. If only men were thankful for what God blesses him with. Everything we have has been given to us. We think we get things by our own power, but who gives us clean drinking water, falling from the sky, Who created all the different kinds of foods. Who created all the different kinds of meats that are here that were desighned to eat. Who gives us trees to cut up and make houses from. Who gives us cotton and wool for clothing. The Creator God.

  • Gratitude and giving thanks to God will increase your sense of happiness and well-being because it places you in a position of humility and sincerity before God allowing you to receive further Divine blessings and Grace.

  • A good reminder that God is the source of our blessings.

  • Thank you for reminding us about the true meaning of Thanksgiving. We should always thank God for what we have. It is not about the parades and the floating balloons. It is about humbling ourselves to our merciful Creator God, who knows all and gives all!

  • Thank you so very much for your video, I will be keeping this Holy day in spirt and truth with my family, and may Glory be to our Great God and Father, the Giver of all Good things.

  • Difficulties and trials are necessary for growth without these challenges we can't grow. If we put 100% of our faith in God all problems turn out for the best. See I Cor.

  • It is God that we should always give our thanks to, no matter what is going on in this world today. You are correct in what you say in the end, what it all boils down to. Thank you

  • What a great reminder to be thankful for our trails as well as our blessings. Difficulties do create sympathy and empathy for others and shape us to look more like our Father.

  • If only all of us who are so blessed to live in this land that God has abundantly blessed would take time to view this presentation! Too few voices give us this kind of perspective--that God is the true source of this nation's time of greatness.

  • Yes, this country is blessed in so many things we have to be thankful for but this country has forgotten GOD. The true GOD. So much is happening and we wonder WHY????

    Great program!
