We don't hear much about plasma tv's anymore. Everyone's talking about LED and LCD TV's. So what's the deal with the plasma? Is burn-in really a big problem anymore? Will they double my electric bill every month? Why should I buy a Plasma???

i have panasonic plasma and my brother threw not one but two glasses at it. its still good as new, i was amazed at the durability of this thing.

I'm 90% sure about buying a plasma next week.... I have but one question, are they noisey with regard to the actually unit running?

@bossman12334 buddy, i first bought a 20 inch, than I wanted a 40 inch than I bought a 50 inch, a 32 or 47 should be fine for the long run, its just my opinion.

@joseph10704 uhhh this was awhile ago, but for gaming if you know left 4 dead, on screen their are red health packs that would remain on screen even when console is off, that was about 5 years ago, now my 50 inch plasma doesnt do anything like that, for the most part your fine.
