HARPER & his LIES

Many of us are parents, children, husbands, wives, friends, employees, employers. Lying is usually not part of our contract with others. In fact, lying, more often than not is frowned upon. Why, we ask, should we allow the man we hired, the man who's supposed to serve us, the man we voted for to LIE to us over and over again! We don't let our children get away with us, why should Stephen Harper!

TRUST Harper with a majority? He wrote a book to stall commitee work - the real work of Parliament, because he could not control the chairman of the commitees. He withheld information from Parliament. He denies Canadians access to information.

Our Parliamentary rules are set up to prevent a PM from abusing their powers. Harper does not respect these rules. I'm not saying he is evil, but our rules help prevent a power hungry tyrant from controlling the country. No majority for this egoman.

@evelynjoyce In my comment I tried to debunk the notion that Harper's tax breaks are responsible for Canada's relatively strong economy. Ty for pointing-out that Harper and Flaherty would have deregulated the banking industry like Bush did in 2000, it is exactly in line with their "Lessez-faire"(leave alone) economic religion. Please read carefully and attempt to understand comments before you reply to them.

@natechomnicorp Stop drinking Glenn Beck's koolaid. Lowering corporate tax rates has not created jobs, the corporations have merely pocketed the extra dough. Corporate profits increased 44% DURING THE RECESSION. Canada being in better shape is all due to previous governments bringing in financial regulation WHICH HARPER STARTED TO REVERSE FROM 2006 TO 2008. That's just a fact, teabilly. In August 2008., Flaherty quickly reversed himself on financial deregulation before mortgages bust.
