Finally saw Inception the other day (yeah, I know I'm a little late to the game) and enjoyed it. Inception was more of a literal action/heist film than an examination into the world of dreams. Which got me thinking about films about dreams. My g/f reminded me of Satoshi Kon's great animated film, Paprika. I just had to jump on the band wagon and do an Inception style homage. Enjoy.
(btw, I only watch Japanese animation in Japanese. But keeping the English for the video was easier.)
RIP SATOSHI KON!

  • @Iemanonymous1 Chris Nolan actually credited this film for a lot of the inspiration behind Inception watch this one first much better

  • Perfect Blue is one of the best anime movies ever made. It's really sad to lose a genius like Satoshi Kon :\

  • Satoshi Kon is a true genius

  • This has got to be better than Inception.

I've not seen Inception or Paprika yet, but both look stunning.

  • AWsOME!!!! really nice thumbs up :D

  • this is one of the best animes ive seen and its pure art with wonderfull storyline and pictures satoishi con thanx

  • This trailer made me debate if I should see Paprika or not. great vid man :D

  • @LazyLamont92 It does the job for the trailer, trailer with subs = more fail.

  • Absolutely excellent, this is exactly what I was looking for. I hate all those parody trailers that just paste over the original trailer sound instead of just the music. Great work!

  • The last part always creeps me out. (yes, I've watched this multiple times)
