  • This is great. I love making my own cards, but never can make them the way I want to because I don't have an envelope pattern to match, Now I can make all the different cards I want with envelopes. Thanks so much.

  • I love this video. I never knew how to measure the card for an envelope. How easy is that...measure on the diagonal. Thanks. I've added your video to my website, under "Contain It". :) Thanks. Judy

  • Like LumosMx said: the "diagonal measurement of the card + 1 inch" is very helpful. I tried to make my own template but it never worked out. Now I tried your method and it works so great that I don't have to bother with templates ever again.

Thank you so much for this great tutorial.

    Love, Tina

  • I love the simple rule: measure card on diagonal; add 1 " to that number; then cut paper to that new amount, squared. Easy & straightforward. I've purchased envelope templates, only to be frustrated because my cards never ended up the sizes of my templates. Knowing this 1" rule solves everything! Thank you Leslie!

  • Really Brilliant. You have made my day!

  • You did it again, Leslie. A very informative, enjoyable video to learn by. Thanks for sharing your expertise with all of us. Can't wait for your next video. Hugs, Suzy
