@MartyMoves at the time when this happened you absolutely could hit from behind into the boards as long as they had somewhat puck possession and they were right up against the boards and not a few feet away from the boards because then it becomes a boarding penalty. that first hit was a clean hit nothing crazy he didnt fall it was a typical check that you will see in any game. no reason to barry bonds a guy who was not even involved in it
